Got another solid week of training (indoors) under my belt and I'm getting really excited to do some real bike riding out on the roads. Exactly three weeks until the start of the Team Ontario training camp and I'll be counting down the hours.

Not a whole lot exciting happened this week, just lots of work and training. It's been nice having such a warm winter but I am really looking forward to riding outside. My California trip is coming up fast, I leave in less than a month and can't wait to spend a few weeks training outside. I will possibly be doing a couple of US Cup races while down south and am really looking forward to trying out the new race bikes! Today is the day that I pulled out the XC skis and got ready for the first ski of the year. With sunny skies and some fresh powder it should make for some great skiing tomorrow.
I also got some new Nike Frees for running on the treadmill!
The puppy is also now ours! We are still on the fence about what to name her but Carbon seems to be the favourite.
Just got my new Superfly and sooo excited! The bike is set up with Sram's X9 groupset, Bontrager RL wheels, avid Elixir brakes and a Rockshox Reba fork. It's going to be an awesome bike for some cold winter riding.

We got a Bowflex for Christmas!!! So nice to have so many strength training workouts all at home.
AND next week we are getting a German Shepherd puppy to keep our dog Gus company. They are soo cute and I can't wait!
